The Summertime Enrichment Guide is designed to promote summer learning, fitness, fun, family time, and it includes a positive daily message.
Grade Level. Each child will receive the Enrichment Guide for the grade they are about to enter. For example, if they just finished 2nd grade, they will receive the 3rd grade edition. Each edition covers materials already learned in the previous school year and focuses on preparing your child for the upcoming school year. If a parent feels like their child needs remedial work, they can buy the Enrichment Guide for the school year they just completed.
Length of the program. The nine week program covers daily lessons in reading, writing, spelling, math, science, social studies, and fitness. All editions are aligned with national standards and common core standards so every child will be better prepared and more physically fit for the upcoming school year.
Bonus materials. Every Enrichment Guide covers important information on reading strategies, bullying, homework tips, social skills, family history, staying healthy including drinking water daily, fun summer activities, and how education and fitness go together.
Participation medals and completion certificate. Every child will receive a participation medal with their Enrichment Guide. There is also a Certificate of Completion for the parent to sign once the Enrichment Guide has been completed. We hope that all parents encourage, support, and congratulate their child on a daily basis and also at the completion of the Enrichment Guide.
Full color pages. Every Enrichment Guide is in full color with fun activities so it doesn’t feel like homework. There are also four fun loving characters named Sunny, Penpal, Story, and Hopscotch. The test group loved these new colorful characters.
Finding the answers. There is an answer key at the back of each edition.
Grade levels who participate. Pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade can participate.
